Such a good age to photograph, Clayton was sitting up super well but not quite crawling, and the smiles! oh those smiles! i had to have a chat to him at one stage, cause you know how much i love the serious looks too. This is the expression he gave me (in the pic below)... what do you think? Serious enough? He cracks me up!
Gavin and Marney held their wedding ceremony at St. Michaels Cathedral, and their reception in a marquee on their parents property. The reception venue was one of the most beautiful I have ever photographed, there was so much attention to detail, and each detail was more beautiful than the last. Plus there was a chandelier and a pink themed candy bar. Unfortunately the weather was not as pretty, and had us running for cover on more than one occasion.
Brothers, sisters and cousins are all in this mix of an awesome foursome. I have photographed them all before except Georgia, in the black and white pic at the top. Even though she gave me some lovely smiley ones i thought this one, with her little pout and soulful eyes, was just divine.
Jake looks so much like his big brother did when I photographed him at the same age. They both have that cute little nose. Although I think Jake is tending towards the ginger colours for his hair!
Melissa and Adam held their ceremony under cover at the MTC, where they also had their reception. The weather was not on our side on the day, but the bridal party didnt let it phase them a bit. I wish i had merit stickers to give out at the end! Even when we got back to reception and the rain paused and the sun came out, and I suggested we go out and try and get a couple of shots without rain, everyone was happy.
I hadnt seen Jack since he was Libbys age, so it was quite a shock to see him all grown up! He was a tough cookie to work with but we got some cute shots of the two of them together. Even though Libby was six weeks old she had a great sleep for me and looks a treat in her knitted hat from the MILK collection. And that little smile! I would love to know what she was dreaming about.
Sometimes its hard to stay professional when you have such a chunk of cuteness in front of your camera. You wanna put the camera down and have tickles and snuggles. Love me some snuggles. I mean really, how could you resist him? Even if he drooled a pools worth of drool and poked his tongue out for pretty much the whole session. Still love him.
Yes, Charli is a drama queen. Yes, thats why i love photographing her. Yes, she cracks me up. Yes, I edited these very late last night. And yes, she is beautiful.
Joey's mum promised me a smiley boy to photograph and he didnt disapoint. When the pedal cars were dropped off i did ask if i could keep them, as i was positive i could use them again in the studio, but unfortunately they went home after the session.
I have photographed Joey's big sister, Sienna, before. She normally takes ages to warm up to me but with the attention all on her brother she was mostly happy to get her photo taken. She made me smile when she came up to me and said "Where's that cheeky cat?". Maybe you had to be there, trust me, it was funny! ( Of course she was talking about our studio cat, Widget. )
Rebecca and Michael celebrated their wedding at The RSL Club, after their ceremony at St. Michaels Cathedral. Although it looks warm and sunny, dont let the pix fool you, it was absolutely freezing on the day and the bridal party did an amazing job of ignoring the weather ( and the broken down wedding car ) and just having a great day.
The zig zags are a popular choice for grandparents for Christmas, you get 12 of your favourite pics in these and they come in a little pouch so you can carry them around in your handbag.
The blocks are my favourite item right now. Your image is set behind a thick block of acrylic. Pop them on your desk at work, or on your bedside table. ( Like the one of me and Craig above )
Deluxe images boxes ( there is also a standard version ) are one of my biggest christmas sellers, because you get fifteen matted prints in a custom printed box. Keep some prints for yourself and give some away as presents. The matted prints will fit straight into an 8x10" frame too.
