ali { a boudoir session }

Before I got pregnant with twins I had grand plans to start expanding the fashion and boudoir side of my studio, so i got some gorgeous models and did some work to use for promos, and plus i really needed the practice. Most of my clients are under ten years old, so its a bit different working with an adult who can follow instructions.

Ali was so much fun to photograph, these are only some of the shots we got on the day, at the end of the session I put her in a bath full of milk and flower petals. Which, now I think about it, is somewhere I wouldnt mind being myself right now.

Again i worked the fabulous Kath at Hair Rehab, who also made an appearance in front of the camera.

bree { boudoir and tutu shootin' }

Wow. This shoot was sooooo much fun. We started off with some sexy boudoir photos and then did some tutu shots outside. I have wanted to shoot a dancer for ages, and Bree is one of my brides. When I pitched her my idea, including stripy socks and one of my great grandmothers tea cups, she was all for it. She even had great ideas of her own. I am pretty sure that this shoot is part one, there are still a few tutus we didnt get time to shoot, and i want to get some shots of her doing fancy ballet jumps. This girl has got skills!

I know it feels like we just got over Chrismas, but Valentines Day is just around the corner.

As many of you must already know, we do gift vouchers. You aleady know that, because I have done a huge amount this week for presents. There are gonna be some happy folks on Christmas Day! Not to mention thats its so much easier to park here than to get a park down the main street today.

Vouchers start at $60 and you can have them in any amount you choose. We then pack them in a gorgeous blue gift box that looks like it came from Tiffanys. You get a personalised card with your own message printed on the inside.

We have done lots for Christmas, but they also make great pesents for birthdays ( especially 18 and 21st ), engagements, new baby's, anniversaries... any reason!

sunday randomness

Talk about a marathon run. I just edited my fifth portrait shoot today. And its Sunday! The last one is a boudoir shoot that i cant show you yet. Just this little sneak peak. We always get our boudoir clients to approve their shots before they go on the blog. So you might get to see some soon. So its half eight on Sunday evening and I am exhausted. I haven't had dinner yet but some "snack right" biscuits and left over birthday cake have kept me going. I really need to eat better when this deadline is over...

Dont forget the order deadline is this friday! Then can i please have a day off...

Oh la la! I have done quite a lot these shoots lately, I am calling them boudoir for lack of a better name yet. And yes, i have permission from Mrs B to post these ones. I had a hard time picking what ones to post, cause I dont want to offend anybody by showing anything too sexy, but at the same time I want to show how sexy she is! We have done a gorgeous album for her, so might share a page or two of that when she gets it back.

Boudoir shoots are fun, sexy, flirty... whatever you want. Get your hair and make up done professionally. Then come into the studio ( or hire a motel room! ) and play with the camera. So fun!
