A teaparty and jumping on the bed mixed with some pretty backlighting and some very cute kids. Sounds like a perfect afternoon.

ella and harry { a woodland teaparty }

Ella and Harrys mum was super organised bought the most amazing props to our styled teaparty session. The styled setup was for both the kids so we used lots of timber and green so it wasnt too girly, and lots of bunny rabbits and a squirrel made an appearance too. Ella and Harry were the perfect little models, totally adorable and just such happy little people.

kilarny { a sweet dreams session }

Im so in love with this session. My new little prop bed is one of two, its sister is a white metal bed that would work for boys and girls, this one is best for girls just because of its pretty hand painted blue flowers. We were watching the sun go down behind the trees and the mozzies were trying to eat Kilarny for dinner, but I always carry insect repellant in my camera bag, so we set up the bed in the middle of a paddock and made some beautiful shots. Kilarny was such a cute model, with all those gorgeous curls and her beautiful smile.

rhys and nate { eleven months old }

This shoot was a long time in the making and way overdue. Lets just say that Jade has had quite a few more shoots than the boys. The trouble is I cant shoot the three of them on location without an assistant because I just cant keep my eyes on all three of them at the same time. So it was Aunty Leeanne for this session. I have done a little studio session with them but for some reason I decided to edit this one first.

So in love with these boys.

And on a side note, trying to get a great shot of my three children together is proving to be mission impossible. But I'll keep trying. You know I love a good photography challenge!

jade { a blossom session }

There were so many hours that went into finding this location... its actually a bit ridiculous. And then there were five kids at the session and I was only photographing the two girls, and then we had to set up the teepee tea party and then do you think we could get Jade to smile? Nope. A tiny little one maybe. That was it. But they're still pretty. And Jade is still gorgeous even if she is Miss Serious. Love that girl.

jack { and a little boat }

When I was pregnant with the twins I did a family session on location and at the end of the shoot a little boat session for jack, but I wasnt totally happy with it... It was late in the morning, not the best light, and I was pretty much exhausted, sitting on the ground and not able to move much... so this time I took the twins with me but they were in a pram. Much easier to move around that way, but it does restrict the locations you can use! Jack was all for the session until he realised how much fun it was to stand in the mud in his gumboots. Then we got stuck in the mud.

cheyenne { a sweet shoot on location }

If you've seen the post of Jade with the cupcake stand, this was the same shoot. Cupcakes are always better when shared with friends, and its a lot of work to set that styled shoot up so I invited some friends along so I could make the most of it. And someone had to help me eat all those cupcakes or I would have had to eat them all by myself.

{ Im still on maternity leave though... for another couple of months at least. Loving spending lots of cuddle time with my two boys. )

jade { cupcakes and strawberry milk }

Jades birthday isnt until May, and she turns two. So there had to be a special shoot to celebrate her birthday... but i shot it a bit earlier than May because I wanted to do it on location and we all know what the weather is like here in Wagga in May. Its cold. So i grabbed some fabulous friends, put the twins and daddy in the car, and set up a cupcake stand. Isnt it pretty? And i got to eat the cupcakes afterward, so that was an added bonus!

jack and cheyenne

This shoot was my last location session before my materniy leave started ( I'm so behind on blogging ). My fabulous clients carried everything for this shoot, as I was not supposed to be lifting anything. I had the little sailor hat for ages and was just waiting for the right little spunky boy to come along so i could use it, and Jack fit the bill perfectly. I am going to have to redo it though, when I have more energy.
