ivy { cake smash }

I cant believe Ivy is already a year old. She is one of my first years, so i have watched her grow since she was just a couple of weeks old. Her mum always brings the most gorgeous things for her to wear.

These four cuties are all in the same mothers group, so their mums got some balloons and some rather yummy cupcakes and we did a little birthday celebration shoot for them. The huge cupcakes had lovely smooshy icing, and the kids looked like they had rolled around in it by the end of the session. You could tell which one had been at someone elses cake by the colour of the icing on them!

 Time just flies, doesnt it? I remember Jake as a dark haired newborn and now he is one year old already.

Big sis was most happy to hang around for a couple of frames with her brother.

Except for the odd scowl, which he is very very good at, Lachlan enjoyed his cupcakes very very much.

archer { one year old }

I have been photographing Archer since he was a little bitty baby. Now he's a little man. We did do a cake smash for this session, but lets just say that Archer is not a fan of the idea!

I was laughing so hard when he picked the cake up and put the whole thing in his mouth i'm surprised that photo is even in focus!

His big brother jumped in for a couple too. Check out those eyelashes. So unfair!

john { one year old }

I have had so many one year olds lately! Its such a good age to do a shoot, they have such cute little personalities. Of course they have their own way of doing things...

We had balloons and cupcakes to celebreate John's birthday. He was impressed with both and we had a fun session in the studio. Look at his little chubby belly. So cute!

sadie { one year old }

I have been lucky enough to shoot Sadie quite a few times in the first year of her life. She is such a little piece of cutie pie. She says "cute" a lot which is... well... its really cute! This shoot was to celebrate her first birthday. I just wanted to snuggle her up and keep her.

I am totally in love with the pettiskirt. I think I might have yelped with delight when I saw it. Its just so gorgeous and a perfect outfit to celebrate her first birthday.
