I didnt have to sing "old mcdonald had a farm" once at this shoot! Had so much fun shooting these two, I found a great new location I hadnt used before and its instantly become on my faves. Although I love shooting the little kids it also great to work with older kids. Not only can they follow instructions but I dont have to sing to them. Which is always a good thing!

harrison and billy { newborn twins }
How could i resist? I had photographed their older brother and sister, and as soon as their mum said "newborn twin boys" she had me. I had beautiful images in my head of sleepy babys snuggling together but of course the babys run the show here, and they had plans to only sleep one at a time or not at all. So I just captured them as they were on the day and it perfectly imperfect.

jade { eleven months old }
Sometimes Jade goes to work with me. On this day i had to push the old pram a couple of blocks from the studio because it wont fit in my car, so Jade got to ride along. I was dying of embarasment pushing this old pram down the road and she was having a ball.

jack { eighteen days new } newborn photography
Jack has freckles on his toes. I didnt see it at first, but the camera did. My camera always sees things like that, those little things. How does that quote go? Photography remembers the little things? Well I guess freckles are little things.
( All the gorgous knitted hats are from the studio MILK collection. MILK stands for mother-in-law knitted. She made the green blanket too. My mother-in-law has fabulous skills! )

eliza { twenty five days old }
Eliza almost came into the world during the Wagga floods, but she was good to her mummy and waited a bit to make her entrance, although still somewhat earlier than she should have. Welcome to the world, Eliza Rose.

stella { seven months old }
Too too cute! I wanted to keep that gorgeous quilt for myself. There
were supposed to be some shots of her and her big brother together too,
but big brother had other ideas. The only shot i got of him is this one below.

what to wear
I bet a large majority of my clients shop online. The kids are in bed, you can munch on that chocolate without having to share, and its quite. The following clothes were all found online at one site, Babys Got Style. I subscribe to the newsletter so all this cute stuff ends up in my inbox.
Gorgeous blue tutu from Alex and Ant, in other colours too. Match it with a pretty shirt. Find it here.
A seaside kaftan from Little Horn, find it here
These bloomers are divine, pick one of the colours out of the pattern for a shirt, from here
And boys are so much harder to shop for but i found some spunky stuff, like this midnight check shirt, find it here
( and if you have an older boy and a baby girl, match this shirt with denim shorts and the bloomers above with a white or red singlet or shirt for her )
If i had a boy i would be buying this hat
Cowboys are cute, especially with some dark jeans, find it here

jade { ten months old }
I just cant help it, she is just at such a good age to photograph, I want to get as many shots as i can before she learns the word 'no' and can run away from me. She is very serious though, as soon as the camera comes out anyway.
And clients keep emailing me asking to see more pix of her and i have to keep my clients happy right?

i got some blog love!
You all know Katrina Chambers, right? She's famous. She's from Wagga and she was on the TV show The Block with her sister Amie. Well, I got to photograph her ( a few times now, we have it all worked out ). She gave me some blog love, how sweet is that? Check it out here.
Katrina does great blog makeovers too, so if you "have a blog only your mother could love" then head on over to her Media Maid site to have a look. Thinking i should get her to look at mine!
