a little holiday

So I am off on a little road trip down the coast for a bit of a break before I get hammered with the wedding season. I wont be back in the office until Friday the 5th of October. My next weekend off wont be till mid December!

Recently I had the opportunity to shoot the totally talented Briony Hardinge from Hardinge Photography in Albury. I have never shot a photographer before so it was totally terrifying! But I think we did well. Briony is also the lucky soul who gets to shoot mine and Craigs portraits next week. And everyone knows how much I like having my photo taken. She has a job ahead of her!

This is one of those shoots thats all my idea. I went shopping and bought both the outfits and the devil horns, and then asked if I could borrow my nieces to shoot it. It was supposed to be three girls in the paddock with parasols, and a cute little fella in the devils horns, but that went a bit pear shaped. But Lara... well she loves having her photo taken. My professional little model! Since I get so many clients who hate having their photo taken, getting one who loves it is a nice change!

school holiday sittings

I still have one spot left on the school holidays for location shoots on Tuesday the 9th of October in the afternoon, and a few spots left for studio shoots at various times in the last week of the school holidays.

And it's not too early to be thinking of those Christmas portraits and cards.

I love a wedding at sunset! Rachael was totally gorgeous ( and the rest of the bridal party wasnt half bad either! ) and we had some great locations and plenty of time to play with.

I'm on display!

So when you are cruising down the main street check out the window display I just put together in the window of Lilly Lane ( my picture framers ). No photos yet but I will have to post some once I get them done.

Thanks to Suzanne and Bill at Lilly Lane for letting me steal their front window for a while, and thanks to the team at Wagga Restoration Centre and Ellesleigh Essentials for letting me borrow some cool stuff to make the display look great.

We are hoping to change the display a couple of times up till Christmas, so go and check it out and see if you are featured.

wedding availability

I have booked quite a few weddings in the past couple of weeks so just thought I should put an updated booking list up.

I'm not taking any more bookings for May or June, as I will be travelling to Morocco, Spain and Portugal about that time.... Lucky Me!

February is also booked out, there are still two Saturdays in March and one in April. And then I'm pretty much booked for the first half of the year....

Whenever my nieces come over they want to have a fashion shoot with Aunty Skye, and who could say no to such cuteness? Mekhi's latest trick is to get a cushion ( any cushion! ) and slide it around and then have a little lay down. So cute!
