bookings

I have had a few clients ring me in a panic, as there seems to be a rumour going around that I am totally booked up for the rest of the year. So not true! I am usually booked up about three months ahead, more at Christmas, so at the moment I am booking June. Sessions are done on Mondays and Tuesdays with the odd Saturday sometimes available.

Any queries please contact the studio, the web site is here and has all the contact details on it.

And because a post isnt really a good post without a picture, here are some more of Jade, at eight and a half months old.

Also proof that you dont have to spend a lot on clothes for a photo session, the little suit was $10 from Target and the headband was $1 from Cotton On. I think the apples cost more!

sophia { fourteen months old } wagga child photography

Sophia was pretty happy to have her photo taken by herself, but lets just say the photo with big brother didn't happen as planned. There was no way she was sharing the spotlight. The serious shot was my fave today, but i couldnt decide between the black and white one or the colour version.

out for a while

Im heading off to Sydney for a portrait seminar so will be back in the office bright and somewhat early on Monday.

Did i tell you i bought two vintage prams over the weekend? Im going to need a bigger studio, and more room to hang all these photos i keep taking of Jade. I have at least two photo sessions planned but am struggling to find the time to do them. Maybe this weekend? Fingers crossed.

asha { eleven months old }

Asha was most impressed with her crawling skills, and would crawl towards the camera at top speed with a big grin on her face. So cute!

jade { eight months old }

I dragged this pram along to this session so i could pop Jade in for a few shots, and after scouting the location I knew i wouldnt want to put her on the ground. Now that she's a bit bigger and could sit in the pram properly I might have another go, and this time take a mega tin of insect repellent.

kourtney { part two }

I had to take Jade along to this session and spent most of the time with my camera in one hand balancing a baby on my hip. Not the easiest thing to do. I did pop Jade in for some shots too, that post up soon. I was impressed that i finally got Kourtney to wear some pink for this shoot.

kourtney { fourteen years old }

Kourtney is my niece so i may be biased but i think she's gorgeous. When she comes to visit me in the school holidays we do a photo shoot. We dont really plan to do one, it just happens. Its kind of expected. And it gives us a really good excuse to go shopping. You should be warned that if you do an urban shoot with me I will wander around like i have no idea where i am going ( which i probably dont ) looking for light and texture and then if i spot random dumped junk i will most likely try to include it in the session. Especially if its a green lounge and you are wearing purple and i just happen to have a peacock feather headband in the car.

mallory { eight months old }

This is such a good age to photograph, sitting up really well, lots of expressions,
but not yet able to chase the studio cat! Doesnt she have the prettiest eyes? And movie star lips. She's going to be famous one day, and i can say i was her photographer.

jade { thirty one weeks old }

This shows how far behind I am! Catching up slowly though. Christmas whacked me good and proper, but hitting the ground running. Jade starts daycare next week. I wanted to keep her home for longer but its just too hard to work around her now shes a bit older. I may be somewhat biased, but i think my little girl is gorgeous!

( the headband is from 7'lil girls and the pants are from Vintage Stash, both are local Wagga businesses )

madison

I have to admit i got a wee bit emotional during Madisons session, as her mum and i swapped birth stories. We had quite a few similiarities. So even though Madison was past the age I normally photogaph newborns as she was born quite early, her story tugged my heart strings and i got her in as soon as i could.  Madison was such a sweetie and i loved getting some cuddles from her. One of the perks of the job!

charli { eight months old }

Charli and Sophia have the prettiest wardrobe. I always love everything they bring into the session.
Especially the smiles. The smiles rock.

the wedding of kathy & dave

Kathy and Dave held their ceremony at Brucedale Chapel and their reception at the Licorice Factory in Junee. This was my last wedding and my first ever with a brideman ( instead of a bridesmaid ). So that was a great way to finish off. And if you are wondering what the black stuff is the rings are on, its licorice. I thought it was fitting.
