Rounding off our last in the series for Callie. Red hot. Did i mention how much fun i had doing this shoot?

william { six days old }

William's mummy was so organised, she had someone phone me when she went into labour so I had a spot available to shoot little William in his first week. ( Newborns are best shot in the first week, when they are really sleepy and will curl up for me ).

William would fight some poses sooo much, you could almost hear him saying "not doing it, not doing it, not doing it!". And then i would move him and he would drop into a different pose that was absolutely perfect. And even though he had a habit of sleeping with his mouth open, who can resist those squishy little lips? At one stage I was holding him and he snuggled under my chin. My heart just about melted into a big puddle at my feet.

callie { dance shoot part two }

Part two of Callie's dance shoot. I am trying to learn off camera flash so I had a practice, while poor Callie stood on one leg in high heel shoes. This girl was a trooper!

the wedding expo

Here are some images from the last wedding expo that Skye Rocket went to. Regular blog readers will be wondering about the non-appearance of my "project" table that i did a post about recently. Well, it didnt make the final cut. Turns out the top wasnt big enough to fit an open wedding album on. So after all that work i ended up doing exactly the same as last year, but with this years pics. I will take some pics of it though, and blog them, just cause I have had a few people ask to see the final result. But i have to put handles on it first. And please excuse the poor quality of these pix, i took them with my iPhone.

The top image is a big banner at the front of the expo with a shot taken by me, of the fabulous Shane and Amy, and this image is also on the cover of the magazine that can be found at various outlets around Wagga ( and its free! ). The second shot is of my fabulous assistant for the day. Isnt she cute? She was a great help on the day, and the night before, with all the packing and unpacking and all the behind the scenes work that goes on.

Just sitting behind Taryn is my new sample album, with an acrylic cover. I am in love with this cover.

samuel, madeline and oliver

Oliver ( the youngest, eight months old ) was due to have his photos taken at the same age as his big brother and sister. He loved all the attention and gave me lots and lots of smiles!

hamish { three and a half months old }

This one is third time lucky. His first shoot didnt go so well, and his second one had to be cancelled cause he was under the weather. His mum was worried, but Hamish cruised in, smiled, played with his toes, looked damn cute in his denim shorts, and rocked the camera. A total rock star. I knew she had nothing to worry about!

story book design

Story books are one of my favourite products. They are such a beautiful keepsake. This is one that has gone out for a client recently and i wanted to show it off, so i snapped a couple of pix before it went to its new home.

You might recognise the image on the cover if you have had an order session in the studio recently as its a big print on my wall.

callie { dance shoot }

This shoot was fun. Like hit it out of the ball park fun. Not only is Callie hot, but this girl can dance! We found some great locations that suited the hip-hop style we were trying to create and then we played with poses and dance moves. I am going to split this post up into three parts, so keep an eye out for the next ones.

And for all the boys that have already asked me, yes, she is taken!

the wedding of carly and jeremy

Carly and Jeremy celebrated their love with a ceremony at St. Michaels Cathedral and a reception at the Golf Club. It was the weekend the lake opened for the first time in ages, and we had a symphony of thumping V8 boats in the background for our photos at the lake.

Just a little sneak peak of images, because Carly and Jeremy are still celebrating their honeymoon in Vegas. And i am not jealous at all... ok, maybe just a bit.

There is a great web site / store in the States called Pottery Barn. We dont have it in Australia, and I'm not sure if they ship here, but their web site is still a great spot for display inspiration.
