make up artist wanted!

Since my friend and make up girl Melissa moved to Melbourne I havent really used a make up artist as much as i should have. I have a fashion shoot on Tuesday and I would love to get the girls make up done for them. The shoot is a promo for me to shoot formals later in the year. Its gonna be way funky! So if you are a make up artist and want to trade your time and talent for some fab pics please send me an email.

heidi { one year old }

Heidi is such a little cutie pie. I have had this red suitcase for ages and was just waiting for the perfect time to use it. It suits her little vintage outfit perfectly. Its so cute! And what better way to celebrate a birthday than with a tutu and cupcakes?

Lucia's family came to visit me when little Lucia was a belly bump, and then came back again when Lucia was five weeks old. And how adorable are these kids?

This is going down as my favourite shoot so far this year. We started off in the studio, with the boys playing footy and the girls in pink, and then we took the drum kit, the guitars and the microphones and rocked the photo shoot! The kids were totally adorable and by the end of the shoot I was thinking that having five kids was an absolutely fabulous idea.

Stacey and Ryan had their reception and ceremony at the Roseleigh Manor. Stacey had a gorgeous fascinator that suited her dress and her short hair perfectly. We went for a drive to get some shots with the bridal party and had some great views over the hills and the Manor.

I had shot Ryans brothers wedding previously so it was great to catch up. I couldnt believe how much their little girl had grown. She was the cutest little flower girl, and took her job very seriously.

happy birthday taryn

Taryn had a photo shoot to celebrate her birthday. We rocked some urban spots, threw hats in the air, laughed at my really bad jokes and avoided lots and lots and lots of bugs and bird poo. But it was so worth it as we did get some great shots.

easter and mothers day

I cant believe its Easter already. Where did the year go?

We will be closed Easter Friday, in Canberra on Saturday and shooting a wedding on Sunday. Monday we will be shooting portraits and still have a two o'clock spot open if anyone needs a shoot done.

Orders for Mothers Day need to be in by Friday the 1st of May to get them back by Sunday the 10th. This time of the year if perfect for outdoor portraits of the kids or the family for mothers day but you need to book a shoot for next week. Or get Mum a gift voucher.

We have spots for school holiday shoots too!

Ali has old movie star style glamour and the camera just loves her. Actually, from the way Les was looking at her I think he loves her too! We did some urban locations for our shoot, which is always a favourite of mine, and then finished up with some ice cream cones.

the wedding of renae and mitch

Anyone who has had me shoot their wedding knows that I love nice light and storm clouds. So while the girls were getting ready I was watching the storm roll in over Lake Albert. And then the thunder shook the house and it began to pour in earnest. But by the time Renae pulled up out the front of the church the rain had eased and left some clouds behind. So i was a happy girl.


Renae and Mitch had their ceremony at St. Michaels Cathedral and their reception at the Country Club. I knew so many of their guests, I had photographed two of the bridal party before, there were some brides, grooms and bridesmaids in the guests, and even my brother and his girlfriend made an appearance.

I can tell you that this candy is as yummy as it looks.

They had a groovy cubby house that even had a slide off the side of it. And they somehow managed to talk me into getting my photo taken too.

ella

The adorable Ella came to visit me, as I had shot her big brother when he was little. She was quite happy to have a little sleep for me for a bit, which I love.
