I took shots of Annabel when she was Tom's age, so it was his turn to shine in front of the camera. He is unbelieveably cute and had me totally charmed from the start of the session.

I love it when parents dont spend the whole session saying "look at the photo lady and smile!" Sure, you want some shots where everyone is looking at the camera. But i also love the shots where the little sister is looking up at her big brother.

the wedding of emma and jason

Emma and Jason celebrated their wedding in the town of Temora, which seems blessed with many great photo locations. I think Emma may go down in Skye Rocket history as the only bride so far who changed her facebook status during the photo session.

Its absolutely crazy busy here at the moment, i think i am about two weeks behind schedule and working like a mad woman to catch up. Not every session or all the work I am currently doing is getting blogged. You can see a great full page shot I took in the latest issue of Style Magazine ( even if they did spell my name wrong in the photo credit! ), i still have my two shoots from Albury to edit too. Right now i am designing some story book albums to get them all in before the deadline closes in two weeks time. Its all hands on deck!

Somehow, by some miracle, the rain stopped just long enough for their ceremony on the beach to happen. I met the boys at the beach and we stood under cover and looked out to the ocean and the rain coming down. A french lady, wearing a plastic rain coat, stopped and asked what time the wedding was. When we told her, she looked to the sky, told us she would pray for us, and off she went. Sixty seconds later the rain stopped, and held off long enough to get the cereomy and some quick location shoots in the bag. And pretty much in the dark!

This is the second time i got to hang out with this lovely family, because Harry is a new addition. And this shoot took place in their backyard. Jealous, me?

willow { thirteen months old } wagga child portrait photography

Willow made me work hard for the smiles that she gave out, they were as precious as gold. But i always love the serious looks too. Her funky handbag was a great hit and such a beautiful prop, especially with her little tutu, and it used to belong to her grandmother, so that makes it extra special.

hair rehab { a design project }

Some of you may already know that I actually started off as a graphic designer, I got my degree here in Wagga at CSU. I love graphic design. I miss it. So occasionally when a groovy little project comes along i jump at the chance to do a bit of design on the side. I am fussy with the projects I take on, as i dont want to do a lot of design, but this one was just too glamorous to miss.

Kath has just opened her new hairdressing salon up in Barrand Street in Wagga, and so we redesigned her business cards to match the new location. Its in a cute little heritage building, and we already had pink in her original colour scheme, but we added the black.

Kath does great cuts and colour, and somehow manages to cover up my greys, and she really shines at upstyles. She is responsible for a lot of the hair styles you see on the blog for my creative and model shoots. Check her out!

the wedding of wayne and rebekah

Wayne and Rebekah have such a lovely way with each other, they are totally happy in each others company. They got ready together and we did the family photos before the ceremony, and the whole day was beautifully calm. We started our photo session off at the Euonyhareenyha Winery, where Wayne proposed, and then stopped off at a pretty spot on the side of the road on the way to the MTC for their reception.

Benjamin came in for a visit, and he not only bought mum and dad with him, but some cupcakes and huge balloon in the shape of the number two. How much fun did we have? Lots.

He takes the art of eating cupcakes very very seriously.
