Cynthia and Justin had their ceremony at the lovely Brucedale Chapel. They had a morning service followed by lunch ( and cupcakes! ) at the Three Chefs at the Townhouse. The wind was a tad chilly but the girls had cute jackets on to keep off the chill as we raced the clock to get back in time for lunch. We made use of the autumn leaves at the Beckwith Street bridge for our first photo stop then made our way around the lagoon at the Civic Centre. All in all, a beautiful day!

hot mamma

This is Kylee, my second maternity model. Kylee is only about six months but we decided to do the shoot anyway cause she doesn't live in Wagga so we took the time while she was here to do some now, and then we can do some more when she is nine months!

Kylee tracked me down through my blog ( it turns out we know each other from years ago and her husband was a groomsman at Erin and Clarks wedding ) so I know she will be reading this. So HI Kylee! Hope you like the shots!

This is Yasmin, my first maternity model. I have BIG plans for some great maternity packages coming up soon. So I needed some great shots to put my promo stuff together. Yasmin was an absolute trooper the whole time, we did a heap of shots and it wasnt particularly warm either!

Double trouble and cheeky to boot! These boys certainly had me earning my dollars. Their Dad is in the army so Mum wanted some shots of the boys in their army shirts. Don't they look spunky? Meanwhile I was whacking myself on the head with a manic zebra to get them to look at me! The lengths I will go to so I get the shot!

nannas are special

These two were just so lovely! Nan reminded me of my Nanna ( who I miss dearly! ) so it was lovely to do a shoot to celebrate the love they have between them.

Nan went shopping just for these photos and she did a great job, doesn't she look like a sweetie?

But a story I have to tell about Jayne. See her beautiful long hair? Well have you seen Mr Bean on Scooby Doo? I saw the ad on tv and I was like "Thats IT". Well people pay Jayne to cut her hair. Seriously. And the hair that Mr Bean was sporting in Scooby Doo? Well that was Jaynes hair. True story! How cool is that? I have been dying to tell someone that all week!

$10 kids portrait special extended!

Check out this cute card I made for Emily. These are great to send out to thank people for all the lovely presents you got when your baby is born, and then they get to see a pic of your little one. Cute huh?

amelia and glen

This shoot is for Amelia and Glen's wedding invitations. Glen was so funny, I had them dancing on the main street when there were heaps of cars going past, and he was so embarrassed that someone he knew was going to bust them. But we got some great shots and had fun finding some locations to suit the theme we want for the wedding invitations. I know they will be great, because Amelia has great style. And I'm designing them!

What a character! Hunter had a great time playing peak a boo with Mum. What he really didn't like was wearing beanies, even though he looked totally cute in them. About half a second was all we could get. But he did love my little red chair, and lots of bubbles and cuddles from Mum...

marketplace display

The display at the marketplace this weekend, for my $10 kids portrait specials, was a huge success. Apoligies to those who checked it out on Sunday, only to find some mischievous kids had placed all the business cards and enquiry slips in the boxes. Sorry about that! I know some people found me in the yellow pages and have already called to book their spot.

I will be calling or mailing everyone today or tomorrow, but if you dont hear from me and want to call to make sure you get a booking ( most of this week is alreay booked! ) please feel free.

At the moment next Saturday the 16th is open for studio and location shoots. Dont forget the special ends on the 19th!

adorable ava

A serious contender for the cutest kid award. How cute is she? I had problems picking a couple to blog, there were just too many good ones to choose from.

How good is my job? I get to play with tutus and teddy bears and lay on the floor and blow raspberries. Its challenging but totally worth it when I get shots like this.

Did I mention how cute she is? Look at those little blonde curls and those blue eyes. I think her Dad will need to get a big stick to beat those boys off later!

erin and clark's wedding

Erin and Clark were so relaxed on their wedding day, the whole group was so easy to work with. And a lot of fun! Clark had his heart set on doing some night time shots on the main street, so we made good use of the car headlights. Doesn't Erin have amazing eyes?

a little bit about me

I like to drink... Iced tea, a habit I picked up in Thailand. I don't drink coffe but am totally addicted to chai tea from McDonalds ( and i also love a good hot chocolate ).

Things you will find on my desk... apart from a really big mess? Lots of funky pens ( I am a bit addicted to stationery, I can't walk past shops like kikki k or smiggle or that cool paper shop in canberra centre... must... go .... in..... ) and a note pad or two and a pack of pick pockets by jerry ghionis.

I am listening to... i tunes is set to random, so it could be anything... at the moment its sarah buxton.

Something I cant live without... lip gloss in a lot of flavours and colours, some in the car, in my hand bag, in my desk drawer, in my camera bag, in my walk in robe...

When I win lotto I will buy... I will so go shopping. First a new car, maybe a Monaro and a Torana, then a scooter ( pale blue retro style I saw one in Melbourne and totally fell in love with it ), fifty acres and an arabian horse, rescue a horse or two, get a shoot sac by jessica claire, enrol in a work shop by jessica claire and jerry ghionis, get a whole new wardrobe, donate a chunk to the RSPCA and then, when I just cant shop anymore, travel the world. And invest! So I can shoot for the love of it... And get some better photos taken of me....

daylight savings time

I have had this discussion with so many couples lately, I decided to google it and see what the dates are for this year...

Daylight savings starts this year on Sunday the 28th of October at 2am.

Daylight savings finishes on March 30th 2008 at 3am.

So keep this in mind if you havent set the times for your wedding yet, as its best to be doing your photos about two hours before sunset for the nicest light...

alexander and his mum

Alexander is an absolute bundle of adorable energy and how gorgeous is his Mum? I made sure I got some shots of Alexander giving his Mum a kiss on the cheek, because I know that is a shot I probably won't be able to get at a later stage!

And what about those red balloons? I got these ones from Party Capers on the main street and they're filled with some gooey stuff that makes them stay up for ages. They will make an appearance in a few shoots over the next couple of days.
