the wedding of kim and natasha

Kim and Natasha had their ceremony, photos and reception all at the RSL Golf Club. The bridal party was heaps of fun and had me smiling the whole time. And of course we got to zoom around on golf buggys. This was my second time driving and I would like to think I have impoved some. I also risked life and camera equipment hanging off the back of a buggy to get the shot of Kim and Natasha as they zoomed back the reception in their buggy. Which was so much fun.
There was a sweet bar for the guests to help themselves to all the lollies they liked. Love that idea. So I had to put the rings in some lollies. They were also in some musk sticks and banana lollies but I ate those ones.

kandie and lukes e shoot

I really wanted to shoot somewhere new for this shoot and found the silos by driving about two k's further than I did last time I was at the same spot. Woo hoo! Lucky for me Kandie and Luke agreed it was a pretty cool location and let me play with some ideas. We did this shoot exactly a year to the day of their wedding date.

hannah

Hannah and her mummy and daddy popped back into the studio for some more photo lovin' goodness here at Rocket Headquarters. Hannah is such a cutie. Lots of smiles for this shoot. And i got to play with my new flower headband.
Hannah was eight months old for her second shoot, and this is a pic from her 8 week old shoot.

little lilli h

I'm kind of surprised I dont have the biggest brood of kids. Because every time I get a cute little baby come in like Lilli my clucky drive kicks in. Lilli's mum even brought the lilly's that hang on Lilli's ceiling in her nursery. Very cute!
This was the last shot I took. The official shoot was over and Lilli and I were just having a chat about things. I snapped a heap of her with all different expressions and have made the cutest story board design but this one was my favourite. Love it!

So what do wedding photographers do when they have a day off? They go a wedding to see a photographer who is in the bridal party. Click here to see some shots of Lisa and Shauns wedding, with Craig and I in the bridal party. There is even a shot of my shoes! Big thanks to Jillian who took these on the weekend and had them posted for me already. Although she is making me look bad, cause i wont have any to show for weeks...

I can still shoot portraits in December, but you wont be able to get prints back in time to give as presents for Christmas.
Thanks to all those fabulous clients that have booked, and that I have recently shot. I'm working on getting all those images out really soon!

the wedding of mal and clare

Mal used to be my boss, years and years ago. He was a great boss. Even though I had to wear a bilby suit once for easter. I used to give his boys piggy back rides when they came in to visit. Imagine doing that now? They're taller than me! So it was great to be able to share Mal's day as he married Clare. The whole wedding was at the Roseleigh Manor, and it looked beautiful. Clares dress was gorgeous. And a first for me to shoot - a wedding where the groom wore a kilt. Although all day Mal had to fight off people trying to show what was under the kilt.

closed friday the 7th to monday

Lisa n Shaun are getting married!
So... this weekend I get to be bridesmaid. Yup, I will be made to traipse through paddocks full of cow poo, climb cattle grids, walk for miles and still keep smiling while wearing three inch heels. While somebody takes my photo. Ok, there wont be any cow poo cause its on the beach in sydney, but there will be a limo and cocktails. And two of my best friends will tie the know after more than eleven years together. I bet I'm gonna cry. I will be taking my camera ( of course ) but i wont shoot at the wedding when the professional photographer is shooting cause I hate it when people do that to me! So hopefully i will be able to post some pics. i know lisa and shaun are getting a photo booth and i cant wait to jump in that and go silly...
I think shaun should wear cons to his wedding...??

So will be back in the office on Tuesday. Arghhhh!! I dont need to take time off right now, but its my best friends weddign so how could i say no? We are getting soooo close to not being able to fit anyone else in to get their pics back in time for Christmas, and as it is everyone has a three week wait while i get all this work done.
ok... back to editing.... sigh.... while everyone else i know is at the races..... sigh... big sigh.... now i need chocolate... more sighing...

sarah and evans loveshoot

I love doing loveshoots ( or engagement shoots, or a couples shoot, still trying to get the best name for that one! ). Its a great way for us to get to know each other better and try a few things that you might not do for your wedding. Sarah wore the dress that Evan proposed to her in for this shoot, and they were total rock stars, laying down in the tall grass on the side of a hill for me.
