bookings and books

I am finally starting to catch up from Christmas, boy was it crazy! We are currently booked up till the first week in March at the moment, and March is peak wedding season, so I will only be doing a couple of portrait shoots a week. Just keep that in mind when you go to book, as often we have people ring to have a session in the next day or two, and we just cant fit them in.
( If you are expecting a baby and would like a newborn shoot please let me know your due date so i can pencil a block of time aside for you )

This week I am designing half a dozen story books. All sorts, from boudoir to newborn and baby's first year. I will have to try and take some shots of them when they come in, as they are just beautiful ( if i do say so myself! )

I love shooting formals. Nice dresses, hot shoes, a funky car, a funny Jazmin...
what more could a photographer ask for?

harry { twelve months old }

When I first met Harry's family he wasnt even a twinkle in his dads eye. Now he is all grown up, one year old, and bringing his family in for an updated family shoot.

The awesome factor was so high with this family that we didnt even notice the million and one flies that invited themselves along to our session.

brittany { year ten formal }

I have been shooting Brittany since she was knee high to a grasshopper. Ok, maybe not that long. But for a while! And i have watched her get all grown up. She looked absolutely gorgeous.

emilee and claudia { a family affair }

Emilee and Claudia even bought their little cousin in for some pics while he was visiting.
Even mum and dad jumped in for some pics.

isabella and mikayla

Isabella and Mikayla came back to the studio for some more shoot lovin'. I hardly ever use the grey backdrop but i think i pull it out every time i shoot these two. I thinks its cause of the gorgeous colour of their hair. Loving their outfits. So cute and colourful.

jasper { three months old }

the wedding of jared and katherine

Jared and Katherine had their ceremony at the Wesley Uniting Church and their reception at the Country Comfort. This was the second wedding I had shot for this family, and i had done portraits for the family as well, so it was great to catch up and see everyone again. These two have such a connection with each other, you can almost feel the emotion in the air.

How cute is she? She smiled practically the whole session.

hello 2010!

Wow, what happened to the past three months? Its half way through January already!
My first day back at work today. The phone has been ringing off the hook, our portrait sessions are pretty much booked up till the middle of February now.

I have some groovy new products in the works too, so will start posting some pics of them when i get a chance to shoot them. I have so many story book albums to design!

I hope everyone had a relaxing break, and i wish you all an absolutely wonderful new year!

the wedding of sophie and chad

Sophie and Chad had their ceremony at Sophies parents property, and their reception at the Golf Club. Because we were traipsing through paddocks in the heat, all the girls swapped their pretty shoes for cowboy boots. The heat made the power go out at the reception, which was a bonus for me. With no electricity, and therefore no lights, i enlisted the help of fabulous DJ Dave and we moved the cake onto the green for the cake cutting and some stylish cake shots!
